Cardiopulmonary Services
Cardiopulmonary Services provides respiratory care services to in and out patients, emergency department patients and same day surgery patients. A Respiratory Therapist is in-house seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. A therapist is available within 30 minutes response time from the hours of 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., seven days a week. In addition to diagnostic procedures RT’s provide:
- Medication aerosol therapy
- Mechanical Ventilation
- Oxygen therapy
- Arterial Blood Gases
- Smoking Cessation
- Airway Clearance Therapy
- Patient Education
Diagnostic services include pulmonary functions;
2-D Echocardiography
Cardiac Exercise Stress Testing
Cardiac Holter Monitoring
12 Lead Electrocardiograms
Pulmonary Function Testing
Electroencephalography (EEG)
The hospital also offers a variety of educational offerings including smoking cessation classes and asthma teaching.
All therapists are ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified.
It is important that your provider know what medications you are on. Please click here and download a copy of our Medication Information Form. Fill it out and bring a copy with you when visiting any healthcare provider. It is a good idea to make copies of the form and carry one with you at all times.
