Infusion Center

Infusion_web.jpgNEW CMH Infusion Center

A cancer patient’s journey is many times one of stress and confusion, made worse by environments that are uncomfortable and not designed for users’ needs. Patients undergoing chemotherapy often want something in between the open infusion space and the closed private room setting.

Our new Infusion Center is a comfortable space designed to improve the experience of our patients receiving chemotherapy and other infusion services. We’ve designed a space that relieves some of the stress involved in receiving these services. From the soothing sounds of the water feature to the warmth of the fireplace, the new CMH Infusion Center surrounds the patient with a home like furnishings, providing a more comfortable environment.

Each of the six chairs in the unit is provided with a Portable DVD/CD player so each patient can privately view movies of their choosing or listen to their own music. Each chair has a reading light if they choose to read a book, and chairs can easily be moved to allow for visitors during the infusion process.
