Dr. Thomas Duncan, M.D. and Sue Skinner, C.F.N.P. have been providing healthcare for the families of Columbia-Pacific neighborhoods for over two decades. They have been in their own offices at Lower Columbia Clinic, 595 18th St. in Astoria for over a decade. Along with Michael Meno, PA-C, they continue to see patients of all ages.

Truman M. Sasaki, MD
Our surgery practice includes the core of general surgery with an emphasis on endoscopy, breast, thyroid and vascular surgery. In office ultrasound-guided breast and thyroid biopsies are available. Sentinel node biopsy is a standard of care in our breast cancer practice.

Robert Wayne, M.D. F.A.C.S.
Doctor Wayne is a General Surgeon. He has a wide base of expertise in most surgical disciplines with extra emphasis on intestinal surgery, breast surgery and trauma. He also has expertise in areas such as chest surgery, gynecology, and skin and wound problems. He has a major interest in endoscopy. Both upper and lower endoscopy as well as laparoscopic cholecystectomy have become a major component of his practice.
He was born in New York City. He moved to Nebraska in 1971 to do his surgical residency. At that time he married Jean Marie McAbe, a nurse from Storm Lake, Iowa. They moved to Seattle in 1974 where he was on active duty with the U.S. Public Health Service. While living in the Northwest, they discovered the Oregon coast. The Wayne’s moved to Cannon Beach in 1978.
Working first in Seaside and then in Astoria since 1986, Doctor Wayne has become an established member of the North Oregon Coast medical community. In addition, as a clinical assistant professor with the University of Oregon for the past ten years, he has helped train many of the students and residents at the Medical School.
Doctor Wayne and his wife Jean maintain their home in Cannon Beach. Their pets include 2 goats, 5 horses, 1 large dog, and 3 1/2 cats.
