Pediatric COVID Vaccine Clinic - For Children 6 Months to 5 Years Old
Columbia Memorial Hospital will be providing the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years old on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the CMH-OHSU Health Pediatric Clinic in Astoria (2265 Exchange St.), from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
The FDA authorized the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination for children ages 6 months to five years old in June.
Any child in the community between the ages of 6 months and five years is eligible to sign up for this event. Children do not need to be established patients at CMH. There are 56 slots available in 15-minute increments during the July 14 event at the Pediatric Clinic. A confirmation email will be sent after registration.
All children will need to be accompanied by an adult and wait in the Pediatric Clinic’s conference room for 15 minutes following their vaccination. The Pfizer vaccine requires three doses, and more information about follow-up doses will be given at the event.
If you are not able to attend the vaccine clinic event, you can make an appointment to be vaccinated with the CMH-OHSU Health Pediatric Clinic, a CMH-OHSU Health Primary Care Clinic, or the Clatsop County Health Department at another time. The COVID vaccine can be given alongside other vaccines.
