Annual Report awarded for print media/design

ASTORIA, Ore. — CMH’s Marketing Department was honored to be recognized with a 2021 MarCom Award for print media/design for the 2020 CMH Annual Report.

The Annual Report was a 12-page publication, published and designed by Coffey Communications. It featured a compilation of hospital activities in 2020 — a year unlike any other, in which caregivers and providers showed resilience in action. The report was assembled and written by Marketing staff members.

“This was the first time CMH has published an all-encompassing Annual Report on the previous year’s activities,” says Nancee Long, director of communications. “It’s important to highlight and remember all we did, especially in a year like 2020. I’m so proud to be a part of the department that gets to tell others about all the good CMH is doing for our community.”

Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, MarCom Awards honor excellence in marketing and communication while recognizing the creativity, hard work and generosity of industry professionals. Since its inception in 2004, MarCom has evolved into one of the largest and most-respected creative competitions in the world. Each year, about 6,500 print and digital entries are submitted from dozens of countries.

All work is evaluated on its own quality, creativity and resourcefulness. Judges base their decisions on learned perceptions of creative excellence rather than an entrant’s imaginative explanation of an entry’s value. The award helps demonstrate the effectiveness of CMH’s Marketing Department and its ability to compete with organizations of all sizes and budgets.
