New Urgent Care provider joins CMH

Stephen “Tony” Leonardo, PA-C, has been a part of the local medical community for two decades
Please join us in welcoming Stephen “Tony” Leonardo, PA-C, to the CMH Urgent Care Clinics. He began providing services last week as a new physician assistant.
“I have been a member of the Astoria medical community for 20 years now and have seen a lot of changes,” Leonardo says. “CMH has always provided high-quality care to our mutual patients. I am excited to join the team and continue to promote community health and wellness.”
Leonardo most recently worked as a physician assistant for Pacific Sleep Program in Astoria. During his career, he has worked at Wimahl Family Clinic and Coastal Family Health Center in Astoria, St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, Oregon, and the Oregon Youth Authority in Prineville, Oregon.
Leonardo also has worked for the Oregon Army National Guard since 2003. He works weekend shifts to perform periodic health assessments and physical exams. He has more than 31 years of military medical experience, with 19 years spent as a physician assistant.
He earned his physician assistant master’s degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. His special medical interests include family medicine and public health.
Leonardo is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Oregon Society of Physician Assistants, the Society of Army Physician Assistants and the American Legion/Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He enjoys hiking, running, reading, playing piano, traveling and working on home improvement projects in his free time.
