Biography
Robert Leatherman, DO, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist who started working at CMH in June 2021 after moving from Maine.
He is the lead interpreting physician for CMH's American College of Radiology accreditation on 1.5T and 3.0T MRIs. He also performs some interventional radiology procedures as part of his practice, including breast imaging procedures.
Dr. Leatherman attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and completed his residency at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan. He also finished a neuroradiology fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Dr. Leatherman did research with Oregon Health & Science University in the early 1990s. He is very familiar with Oregon, having lived here in the past. He enjoys practicing good medicine with CMH and OHSU, treating each patient like they are family members.
