Giving back never goes out of style.
Join us for the CMH: Giving for Good Gala, an evening in black and white, on May 2, 2026, at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds. This year’s Gala trades the Kentucky Derby flair for an evening bringing our community together in a classic setting, where generosity takes center stage.
This year, guests will enjoy live music and fantastic food and drinks as the Fairgrounds’ event space is transformed like never before. Dress sharply and enjoy an unforgettable night for good.

Featured campaign: CMH Classic Golf Tournament
Bring your “A game” and tee off for a great cause! Mark your calendar for the second annual CMH Classic golf tournament on Friday, August 14.
The event will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start, with a four-player team scramble format through 18 holes. Up to 20 teams may register for the event. Registration is $1500 per team.
Proceeds support the CMH Foundation and the BuildCMH Expansion Project, helping expand health care services in the community.

Featured campaign: Make your impact on the BuildCMH Expansion Project
Beginning in 2024, Columbia Memorial Hospital will make an investment in health care on its Astoria campus in what will be one of the largest construction projects in Clatsop County history. This capital improvement project, with an anticipated open date in late 2027, will expand hospital service lines, attract new health care providers, and provide the latest technology to address community health needs.
We plan to establish a center for health and wellness, providing needed services close to home, while also maintaining a resilient structure to serve as a safe harbor for the community in case of a natural disaster.
In May 2023, we launched the BuildCMH Expansion Project and capital campaign to raise $10 million from now through the end of 2026. This exciting goal is one our community can reach and even exceed!
Pledges toward the campaign are now being accepted through the end of 2026. Consider what you can commit to improving health care in our region. When you make a pledge, you can meet with the Foundation and discuss payment terms, installments, customization to what works best for you financially, and what honors your intent and desire for recognition.

Because 100% of donations go directly toward sustaining and improving CMH's health care programs and services, your gift to the Foundation has the potential to directly help your Clatsop County community. Your help can be life-changing for the many patients and families who are treated at CMH each year.

Ways you can support CMH
At the CMH Foundation, we know that making a gift can be a very personal decision. We work with all our donors to understand their priorities and aspirations. This way, we can ensure that every gift has the most meaningful impact for both our community and our philanthropic partners.
If you make an unrestricted gift, your donation goes where it is most needed. Often, this means funding to support our innovative facilities and services or our expert medical staff. We also raise funds for specific health care services, like hospice care, or specific groups of people, including those undergoing cancer treatment or caregivers working with CMH patients.
