Level 7 status reflects both the acute and ambulatory levels

For the 12th time, CMH is the recipient of an annual award that recognizes excellence in health care information technology (IT).

Each year, CMH participates in the College of Health Information Management Executives' Digital Health Most Wired program survey, which recognizes organizations that demonstrate excellence in digitally enabled health care. CMH is proud to announce its achievement of Level 7 recognition for both acute and ambulatory care levels.

Level 7 organizations have deployed technologies and strategies (e.g., population health/cost-of-care analytics, HIEs/integration engines, and patient portals) to help analyze their data and are starting to achieve meaningful clinical and efficiency outcomes. Some of the Level 7 organizations are experimenting with more advanced technologies, like telehealth, that expands access to care.

Among more than 50,000 facilities represented, CMH distinguished itself by ranking above peers in key focus areas including clinical quality and safety, analytics and data management, cybersecurity, population health, infrastructure, patient engagement and innovation. The survey evaluates the integration, adoption and impact of technologies across health care organizations at all stages of development, from early development to advanced transformation.

“We’re honored to receive this award once again,” says Nicole Perez, vice president of Health Information Services. “It reflects our commitment to delivering the best possible experience for our patients and caregivers.”

As healthcare organizations continue to face complex challenges in rising cybersecurity threats, evolving care models, workforce shortages, and budget constraints, the need to accelerate digital transformation has never been more urgent.

The Digital Health Most Wired survey serves as a comprehensive evaluation and digital maturity report card for health care organizations across the globe. As success in digital transformation increasingly influences the quality and accessibility of care, this recognition program reflects the progress of leading health care providers as they reshape the future of health care.

“Congratulations and well done to the entire CMH IT team for this significant achievement,” Perez says.
