CMH shares 2023 Annual Report
Columbia Memorial Hospital is pleased to share its 2023 Annual Report.
The report reflects on 2023 successes for the hospital and Clatsop County residents. A series of 15 articles are featured, with each article focusing on how CMH worked to improve and support the community, as well as complete its organizational priorities for the year.
In 2023, CMH focused on providing community programs and events, expanding needed services in the area, and improving safety on its campus. CMH is proud to have supported the community in a variety of ways, many of which have continued through 2024. Examples include hosting the Astoria Regatta Square block party, donating baskets of food during Christmas, and donating to other local organizations.
“Last year, CMH provided millions in free care and financial assistance to patients,” CEO Erik Thorsen says. “We were excited to implement many improvements for our patients in 2023, including the Mako SmartRobotics system for Orthopedic surgery; the Phreesia patient intake system; and the expansion of our Swing Bed Program. All of our caregivers also participated in DEI and safety trainings, which were a great success.”
CMH is proud to support Clatsop County and is dedicated to helping people live their healthiest lives. To learn more about CMH’s community-focused work and view the report, please click here: https://www.columbiamemorial.org/annual-reports/2023-annual-report/.
