CMH welcomes new Emergency physician, Dr. Sachi Patel

CMH is pleased to welcome Sachi Patel, DO, to the CMH Emergency Department. Dr. Patel, a board-certified physician will be splitting his time between CMH and Adventist Health Portland.
Dr. Patel earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon. He completed an emergency medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science University. During his time at OHSU, he worked as the chief resident.
Dr. Patel also holds a bachelor’s degree in biology, with minors in chemistry and psychology. He earned the degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
During his career, Dr. Patel has held several research positions and has led several lectures.
He has been an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) instructor for the Center For Advancement Of Resuscitation Education since 2019. He also worked as a chief medical scribe at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, for two years.
He is a member of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine; American Academy of Emergency Medicine; Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association; American College of Emergency Physicians; Oregon Chapter of ACEP; and American Association of Clinical Anatomists.
In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys gardening, hiking, backpacking, camping, snowboarding, and exploring new restaurants and breweries.
