Doug Mays steps into new role as VP of Facilities, Security and Environmental Care
This week, CMH is pleased to welcome a new member to its executive leadership team — Doug Mays, vice president of Security, Facilities and Environmental Care. Mays started work at CMH on November 18.
In this new role at CMH, Mays will oversee the Security, Facilities and Environmental Services departments.

In his previous role, he oversaw facilities, engineering, plant operations, dietary, environmental services (EVS), security and purchasing.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in hospital support services, Mays has led capital projects, ensured regulatory compliance with various agencies, and delivered multimillion-dollar savings through contract negotiations and operational efficiencies. He has been recognized for his strategic leadership, crisis management and creating safe, efficient and compliant health care environments.
Mays earned a master’s degree in health administration and a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Phoenix. He previously served in the United States Marine Corps as a logistics and supply clerk, building a foundation in supply chain and requisition management.
