Brighter, modernized space welcomes patients
This month, the CMH Outpatient Pharmacy in Astoria welcomed patients to a brighter, modernized space in the west side of the Park Medical Building (2120 Exchange St., Ste. 101, Astoria, OR 97103).
It has been just over three months since the pharmacy remodel began on September 20, 2025.
The remodeled pharmacy has room for additional services like private patient consultations, pet medications and more. Later this spring, compounding, which is not offered anywhere else in Clatsop County, will be offered, as well as durable medical equipment orders.
“We appreciate the community’s kindness and patience as we completed the remodel and continue to work through software update challenges,” says Jeff Chow, PharmD, pharmacy manager. “We’re excited to be seeing patients in the new space!”
The pharmacy offers pharmacist-prescribed birth control, free prescription delivery from Knappa to Cannon Beach, help for patients managing or needing to make changes to medications, MedSafe medication disposal, prescriptions for Narcan, optimized refill scheduling, medication labels in over 50 languages, and on-site vaccinations.
The pharmacy accepts most insurance types, alongside offering competitive prices on prescription and over-the-counter medications.
