ASTORIA, Ore. — The Columbia Memorial Hospital Foundation will host the third annual Diamond Derby fundraiser on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds. Individual tickets and tables are available for purchase.
During the event, attendees are encouraged to dress to the nines for the running of the 150th Kentucky Derby. A plated meal, live auction, special presentations and raffle are sure to make for an exciting afternoon. The event is a fundraiser for the BuildCMH Expansion Project.
Special guests include NFL safety Jordan Poyer, former Oregon State Sen. Besty Johnson, KOIN-TV’s Adam Bjaranson and famed auctioneer John Curley. This year’s featured raffle prizes include a custom-made diamond necklace by Holly McHone Jewelers and several unique local experiences and travel packages, among others.
“This year’s event will be our biggest and best yet,” says Mark Kujala, CMH Foundation director. “We are thrilled to be expanding this event to the Clatsop County Fairgrounds and we can’t wait to celebrate with our community while raising money for such an important cause.”
Tickets cost $200 for individuals, who will be seated at shared tables. Tables for 10 guests are available for the $2,500 Diamond level, $2,000 Emerald level and $1,750 Ruby level.
