Biography

Board-certified physician associate Eric Holden, PA-C, DHSc, joined the CMH Emergency Room in April 2020.

Holden earned his doctor of health science degree, with a global health concentration, from Nova Southeastern University College of Health Sciences. He attended the University of Nebraska College of Medicine for his physician assistant studies, with an emphasis on emergency medicine.

Holden previously worked as a physician associate in the emergency department at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon, Washington; Klickitat Valley Hospital in Goldendale, Washington; and Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport, Oregon. All of those are rural and critical access hospitals.

Since January 2018, he has also been an assistant professor in the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Virginia, teaching Global Health.
