Biography
Michael Murdock, DPM, is board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who provides care at the CMH-OHSU Health Foot & Ankle Clinic - Astoria.
Dr. Murdock is originally from Shelton, Washington. He completed his undergraduate training at Brigham Young University-Idaho. Prior to coming to CMH, he completed his medical training at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago and his surgical residency at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa.
During his residency, he gained a great appreciation for the surgical management of complex foot and ankle deformities and conditions.
"Surgery can be scary, but I try to put patients at ease and make it a pleasant experience," he says. At CMH,
Dr. Murdock serves as the chair of the Practice Operations Council and is a member of the CMH Foundation Board. In his spare time, he loves to play golf, target shoot and volunteer as a coach for his sons. He is married with two boys.
