Astoria Regatta Square block party returns

August 2022 marked the first in-person celebration of the Astoria Regatta since 2019. CMH took part in the event by hosting its third Regatta Square block party.

The square featured a health fair, food from CMH Nutrition Services, a kids’ zone and a local DJ. CMH providers and departments were present during the event, along with other participating organizations.

The CMH-OHSU Health Primary Care Clinic - Warrenton put together CMH’s 80s-themed parade float. The team dazzled as they danced along the route of the Regatta’s Grand Land Parade, winning the Regatta Court’s Choice Award.

It was rewarding to gather and collaborate with these community organizations and local residents to honor Astoria’s maritime history. The festival was held virtually in 2020 and 2021 because of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. Our caregivers greatly enjoyed being able to safely connect in-person once again during this important event. We look forward to celebrating the Regatta in 2023!
